Tri-Creek EMS is not part of Lowell Vol. Fire Dept, but does play a major role in providing EMS support to fire calls that Lowell Vol. Fire Dept. responds too. Tri-Creek EMS has its ambulances and equipment quartered within the same apparatus bay area as the Lowell Vol. Fire Dept, so many people assume that its part of the Fire Dept, but it is not.

Tri-Creek EMS staffs two Advanced Life Support Ambulances 24 hours a day, seven days a week with an Indiana Certified Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician aboard to run each call. There is a third ambulance that is staffed “on-call” should an emergency require additional EMS support. However, if the emergency is of a large scale, there is a mutual aid plan all ready in place that would have resources from Crown Point Fire & Rescue, Newton County EMS, and Cedar Lake Fire Dept.

The Men and Women who make up the EMS staff at Tri-Creek are some of the best in the business. Their professional medical training and patient care is second to none. They are local people who are providing care and life saving skills to the people that live and work in the same community they call home.

For more information please call Tri-Creek EMS Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm at 219-696-8610. Ask for Director Charlie Scott or Assistant Director Cory Weitbrock.
